Common questions

What skin conditions can be treated online?

Our GPs regularly treat acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, fungal infections, contact dermatitis, and more. For suspicious moles or lesions that require physical examination, we'll refer you to an in-person dermatologist.

How does a skin assessment work via video?

Your GP will ask you to show the affected area on camera and describe your symptoms and history. Bring good lighting and be in a private space. Most common skin conditions can be assessed this way.

Can I get antibiotics for a skin infection?

Yes. If your GP determines an antibiotic is appropriate for conditions such as infected acne, cellulitis, or impetigo, they can prescribe it. The prescription is sent to your phone via SMS.

Can I get a referral to a dermatologist?

Yes. If your skin condition requires specialist management, your GP can provide a referral letter to a dermatologist.
