ALLERGIES

(9 April 2019) Over 4 million Australians suffer from at least one allergy, and unfortunately the prevalence of allergies is growing.

This week is World Allergy Week, and the focus is on food allergies.  Some foods, such as dairy, eggs and peanuts, are more likely to cause allergic reactions than others.  Reactions can range from the more mild such as swelling, to life-threatening (anaphylaxis).  If you have any concerns about allergies be sure to contact a health professional as soon as you can for bespoke advice.

If you believe that you, or your child suffers from an allergy, make an appointment for a video consultation with one of our GPs and we can discuss options with you.
